Pick 4 Odds and Prizes
There are many different ways to win prizes in Virginia Pick 4. Different play sets have different payouts and each of them has multiple ways of winning. For example, you win a different prize depending on whether all your numbers are different (24-Way), or some of them are repeated. Go to the How to Play page to learn more about each play type.
The most you can win is $5,000, if you wager $1 on an Exact Order play and match each digit in the correct position. The full breakdown of each prize and the odds of winning are displayed below.
These prizes are based on a $1 play. Halve the prize amount if you played for $0.50.

Fireball Odds and Prizes
Playing the Fireball option changes your odds - here’s how it works out. You have a much better chance to win, although the payouts are lower and the cost of playing is doubled.

Claiming your Prizes
Have you had a lucky result? Then you will want to make sure you can collect your winnings. For wins under $600 make sure you visit a local Virginia Lottery retailer. For wins over $600 you won’t be able to cash in at a retailer but there are other options, such as mailing in your winning ticket along with a valid photo ID.
